The Piedmont Master Gardeners had a great time participating in this year’s Meriwether Lewis elementary school Farm and Harvest Festival. “We talked about seed dispersal and pollinators being fed……then made Wildflower seed balls with the kids……. 420 kids came through our activity! Whew!” said volunteer Fern Campbell. She went on send out thanks to volunteers “Mary Voorhees, Alison Brill, Vickie Brunjes and Susan Hall in helping me on this event! It was a muddy morning! Hope everyone’s shoes/boots are cleaned up and ready to go!”
