We are excited to hear back from more of our Grants recipients. The time and energy they put into each of their own horticulture projects makes us proud to support and be part of their efforts.
The most recent came in from the Blue Ridge Juvenile Detention Academic Program. Principle Laurie Cooper and Clinical Supervisor Joshua Foskett reported:
“Over 25 students participated in our Greenhouse and Garden Program this school year. One of our goals was to increase our raised bed area where we grow vegetables and plants. With your help we were able to add a 96 foot long raised bed to our garden!”
Included are these pictures of their garden -good job everyone!
